LEXINGTON, N.C. — Davidson County prosecutors have dropped charges against a man accused of trying to buy a vacuum cleaner and other items from Walmart with a $1 million bill.
The Winston-Salem Journal reported that prosecutors dismissed charges of attempting to obtain property by false pretense and using a forged document against 53-year-old Michael Anthony Fuller.

It’s not clear what prompted the decision. In court documents, Assistant District Attorney Greg Brown wrote that he was dropping the charges in part because of competency questions. Neither prosecutors nor Fuller’s lawyer would discuss the case.
Fuller was arrested last year. Store employees called police, saying he was trying to pass off the eye-popping bill as legitimate.
The largest bill in circulation is $100. The government stopped making bills of up to $10,000 in 1969.

Editors comments:
Why did our police and district attorneys charge this guy in the first place? Because they are all money hungry pathetic dumbasses. If they don’t find a reason to arrest you and keep you in jail, that is less job security for themselves. Plus this guys is black and obviously not all there. So he is a prime candidate to spend allot of time in prison since he is poor, retarded, and can NOT defend himself. Since this story made national headlines, the stupid-ass government was forced to drop the charges.
